Dream(புதிய கனவுகள்) of New Year

There is something about “new” that keeps our thoughts occupied with new resolutions, new dreams, new hopes, new plans and new wishes. New Year gives a perfect starting point for opening the next chapter of our life and making it better and brighter than the previous one.

Unfortunately not all of our dreams and desires become reality. Keeping the initial enthusiasm and motivation over
the long period of time is often tough. If you have made resolutions last year you probably know how difficult it is
to stay committed to them.

The reason why so many people give up on their New Year’s resolutions almost as quickly as they make them is simple.

While resolutions for the New Year give us a wonderful sense of positive intent, they are extremely hard to stick with unless we turn them into clear, well-defined goals.

Here are some goal setting tips that will help you to stay on track with your resolutions and make thia year unforgettable:

1. Get It Right The First Time

Before trying to formulate any actual long-term goal for the next year have a ‘mind dump’. It’s a great and simple way of getting a lot of ideas out of your head, clear your mind and get a good view of your plans, decisions, and wishes.

Devote at least 20 minutes of your uninterrupted time to brainstorm. Sit down and relax. Take a piece of paper and write down whatever goals come to your mind. Don’t analyze anything. Just write it down. Big or small. Simple desires or life changes. Everything you wish you had gotten to, but didn’t. Anything you wanted for a long time, but never had enough time, courage, or persistence to follow through.

2. Pick Your Goal!

Take a look at the goals that you have written down… Are any of your resolutions unrealistic? What is the most important goal for you at the moment?

I’m sure that there are many goals that you would like to accomplish, but only few of them will have the biggest impact on your life this year.

Which goal is it? Is it something that can be achieved in one year? Or will it require more time? If it is a long term goal that will take several years to achieve, you might want to break it down into smaller goals that you can accomplish in less that a year. Otherwise, there is a high chance of losing motivation and initial momentum.

3. Concentrate Your Efforts On JUST ONE Goal

Don’t set a lot of different goals at the same time. Although it may seem like a good idea to divide your focus, time and energy between multiple goals, in reality it is counter-productive.

When you set a goal - you make a decision to stay committed to it. If you are pursuing a lot of goals at the same time,
you aren’t committed to any of them. You’re just going with the flow, hoping that you’ll find time to squeeze everything into your already busy schedule. But what you do in reality is lose control of your time and let outside circumstances dictate your life.

One goal gives you clarity and focus. Ten goals create chaos and confusion.

If you want to succeed in achieving your goal this year, chose just one goal at a time and stick to it until it is 100% complete. Then pick the next one.

I know that we want to have everything right this moment. Most of us are impatient by nature. But think about this: It is much better to achieve one major goal than set 10 goals and fail to accomplish any of them!

4. Create Your Mantra

Once you’ve chosen your goal, turn it into a personal statement. And then turn it into something more than a statement - make it your own mantra or a verbal formula that is continuously repeated in your mind.

Make sure that you make your goal as detailed and clear as possible. There is a great way to check if your goal is stated correctly. Look at your goal “from the distance”. Forget that you have written these words just a few hours ago. Imagine that you see this statement for the first time, because your friend wants to know your opinion on it. Do you have any questions? Or maybe you
would like to clarify a few things? If so, make adjustments to your goal, until it is 100% clear to everyone who reads it for the first time.

After that put copies of your goal on an index card, make it your desktop wallpaper, post it in the car or right next to your bathroom mirror or next to your computer at work.

Ensure that your goal is always at a forefront of your mind. Repeat it out loud every single day. Make your goal a center of your focus.

This will help you to keep your motivation and excitement high throughout the day.

5. Decide On An Action Plan

Many people fail to achieve their goals not because they lack desire or enthusiasm, but because they fail to plan their success out.

Goals are not simple items on your to-do list. They can’t be done overnight. Any worthwhile goal requires sustained effort and energy over the long period of time. Without a well-thought action plan it is almost impossible to carry big goals out.

If you want to noticeably improve your chances of success - plan specific actions that will lead you to the desired result. Your goal should be your compass that will point you into the right direction.

Your action plan is a detailed map that with the baby steps will take you to your destination point. Action plan also helps you to monitor your progress, while giving you a sense of accomplishment and making the whole process seem a lot easier.

6. Make Your Success Inevitable

Even if the goal that we have chosen sounds really appealing, it doesn’t mean that we will stick to it. When it comes to doing actual work, our motivation disappears with a speed of light.

Here is a quick example. Having a beautiful, toned and slim body is a very inspirational goal. We all want to be healthy and look great. However, getting up early in the morning to run 1 mile, denying ourselves things we love to eat, changing our lifestyle sounds much less appealing. At this point we have to consciously force ourselves into doing all these things to get the end result that we want.

Of course, if you have an iron will and unbending self-discipline, you will achieve your goal anyways. But if you are like me, you probably won’t torture yourself for a long period of time. Fortunately, there is a way how you can accomplish anything you desire, without having to force yourself into doing something.

All you have to do is set up the right conditions and let things happen for themselves.

For example, if you want to get more exercise, you can find a friend who wants to get back in shape and offer him/her to exercise together. Or set up an appointment with a personal trainer at the gym. He will stay by your side the whole time and you will more likely do your best. Or you can make a deal with your spouse that every workout that you’ll skip, you’ll give him/her $40.

Leave yourself no escape from achieving your goal. What conditions can you set up to make your success inevitable? With a little imagination and support of your friends and family you can accomplish any goal!

7. Build On Your Success

No matter what goal you have decided to pursue, there is only one way to achieve it - take a first step and build on your success gradually.

There is no way around it. You can’t become a multi-millionaire without making your first million. You can’t get in shape and have a gorgeous looking body, without doing the first workout. You can’t write a book, without writing the first chapter.

Whatever you want to accomplish you must do something every single day towards making your wish reality.

Even if you do just a little bit. Something that doesn’t require a lot of your time of effort, but you do it DAILY, you will achieve even your most daring goals.

Don’t let a single day go by without “incrementally” adding to an accomplishment of your goal. Consistency is the most important factor of success. Not motivation, not knowledge, not your skills - but consistency.

When we are first faced with everything we must do in order to achieve our goal it is easy to feel overwhelmed. When a goal seems too difficult to accomplish we often procrastinate, preferring to postpone hard work for later. The problem with it is that “later” may never come.

The only moment when you can change or do something is NOW. Don’t delude yourself with self-justifications that it is ok to skip today, if you do twice the work the next day. Deep down you know that it is just another story that you are telling yourself.

January 1st is a great starting point to change your life for the better. Make no excuses this year! Do something that will take you closer to your goal every single day.

Even a tiny step towards your goal creates momentum and boosts motivation. And it is a step that you will never have to take again.

The 11 Forgotten Laws – Bob Proctor Interview

Jog Falls from below
Image via Wikipedia

I hope that you have listened to the Bob Proctor’s Teleseminar last Tuesday and in case you couldn’t get in the line, thank God that they have recorded the teleseminar.

I’m sure that you have received the email, which showed you the download link to the teleseminar mp3 (Unless you didn’t subscribe to the teleseminar).

If you have not, go here now to listen to it

I’m so excited when I found out that I can download the mp3 and I listened to it over and over again especially during my mealtime and jogging time.

In the call, Bob Proctor himself admitted that the Law of Attraction alone is not enough and it’s just an ingredient in the recipe.

Actually, all laws, including the 11 Forgotten Laws are being mentioned in The Secret movie. It’s just that they put more weight in the Law of Attraction and not talk much about the other laws such as the Law of Non-Resistance, the Law of Thinking, the Law of Supply and so on.

One of the most frequently asked questions in the call, which is probably in your mind now is, “Why the Law of Attraction doesn’t work?” And I think Bob has given a very brilliant answer to that question.

He said that if it’s a law, that means it works anytime, for anyone and anywhere in exactly the same way. The law is not bias.

5 Steps to Rebuild Your Self-Confidence

The current economic situation and the environment affect many people, that their confidence level starts to drop drastically. Instead of controlling the situation, most people let the event and the environment take over them.

When you have a strong self-confidence, you are more likely to get whatever you wish for. Remember the Law of Attraction?

On the other hand, if you lack self-confidence, you begin to doubt yourself, which is equivalent to slaughtering the power of the Law of Attraction.

This article is written to rebuild the lost self-confidence.

I touched about self-confidence and how it differs from being arrogant. So, today, I’m going to share about how you can rebuild your lost self-confidence.

Self-confidence dissolves in the emotions of fear, guilt and discouragement. When you feel fear, guilt and discouragement, your confidence level dives down to the bottom.

Those emotions are the root causes of losing your self-confidence. Therefore, in order to rebuild your self-confidence, you must first eliminate your fear, guilt and discouragement.

The BIG question is how to eliminate those emotions?

I will provide you with all the steps that you need to get rid of those feelings, BUT only if you are willing to play your part. Yes. It involves some work.

Step #1 – Feel the misery

Take a few minutes to write down how would it feel like if you have a day or two of total freedom to enjoy your MISERY.

Stop reading until you finish this exercise and start participating.

Step #2 – Be grateful

List out 10 things that you are grateful for (I do this literally everyday).

This simple exercise can change the way you feel.

Step #3 – Eliminate the fear

The only way to eliminate the fear is by facing it. Write down something that you are afraid of doing right now.

Then DO IT!

I have a lot of fears and procrastinations too. And when I catch myself having these feelings, I force myself to face them. The best thing is, once I face them, they’re gone. They are just like illusions.

Step #4 – Kill the guilt

List 10 things that you are feeling guilty of. It could be you are not making enough for your family, your broken relationship or any guilt that you have in yourself right now.

After that, I want you to write down how would you feel if there were no reason for you to feel guilty about them anymore.

How would you feel without all these loads and burdens?

Finally, list out 3 reasons why you should not feel guilty for each of these things.

Step #5 – Empower yourself

There are multiple ways that you can empower yourself. You can read motivational books, listen to empowering audio tapes and read inspiring blog posts.

I hope you have taken some actions to follow through these 5 steps and once you have done so, give yourself a pat at the back and say “Thank you.” It is very important to reward yourself for any success that you achieved.

Once you have gained back your self-confidence, get ready to attract all the things that you desire with the Law of Attraction.

10 Ways to Raise Your Vibrations

Cover of

Cover of A Better Place

Hi folks, I’d received this email from Iann Legg a couple of days ago and I’m sure it’d be beneficial to you. That makes me want to share it with you. Here’s the article:

———————————————————————————

10 Ways to Raise Your Vibrations …and Make the World a Better Place by Iain Legg

1. DON’T give away your power to people. Take responsibility for your life. If things aren’t going as hoped in your life, re examine your deepest beliefs. Swap limiting beliefs for empowering ones.

2. DO get a pet! According to Power vs Force, a purring cat vibrates at 500 (anything over 200 is Good..) …my pet dog Cass must vibrate at least 800 with her loving licks and devotion! (She is nicknamed ‘Licky’ by my friends!)

3. DON’T watch movies that drag you down. According to Power vs Force, this is most films. Watch movies that will make you feel good. Listen to music that fills you with positive emotions. Read books that empower you. (Control the input to your brain, and you’ll control your output).

4. DO focus on what you want in your life, not what you don’t want - remember the law of attraction… You have the power to create the life of your dreams - even if the world around you seems messed up, don’t lose focus…

5. DO imagine that what you dream of is in your life now, and feel grateful for it now …and after that think of 10 more things to be grateful for.

None Other Than Thought

Today, I’d like to share with you something that I have learned from Bob Proctor’s Coaching Club, The Science of Getting Rich. Of course I can’t share it with a great detail with you since most of you (I believe) do not have the modules but …

What I’m going to share here is enough to give you a new perspective and begin to work on improving your life to the better.

There’s at least one thing you and I have in common that we have full control over and that is our decision. Nobody can make the decision for us and we have absolute full control over it.

Your friends or family can persuade you to do something but in the end, it’s you who decide whether you want to do it or not.

Let’s look at where our decisions come from. We make decision based on how we feel and our feeling comes from our thoughts.

Thus, I can say that we have full control over our thoughts too, can’t I?

2 different persons make different decision on a same situation because they have different thoughts on the particular situation. Make sense?

Everything in this world comes from our thoughts. If you want to build a house, you’ll have to …

Try It On Everything – EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique)

Dragon boat racing, a popular traditional Chin...

Image via Wikipedia

I came across EFT around 2 years ago and I find it pretty amazing. One thing I am proud about myself is, I am not a skeptics and I often accepts things with an open mind. Since I watched The Secret and learned about the Law of Attraction, I begin to see possibilities in everything.

The attitude has served me very well so far and I feel extremely good about it because I have broken the wall that used to separate me from my success. All right, back to EFT.

If you have not heard about EFT, it stands for Emotional Freedom Technique and basically it is a technique that combines the Chinese ancient meridian therapy with modern psychology.

If the first thing that comes to your mind is poking your skin with all those needles, then let me tell you that it’s NOT what it is.

Now, what do I mean by simple. It is actually done by tapping various parts of your body with your fingers in the correct sequence while thinking and saying a specific empowering phrase. (Depends on which area of your life you want to work on)

This technique is so simple to learn and yet so powerful. Not only that. You can literally learn it in a couple of minutes and you can do it literally everywhere.

That includes in your office, in the train, in a restaurant (And no, you don’t have to lie on the floor to do that) )

EFT just takes a couple of minutes of your time per day and it is capable to cure your sickness, change your limiting believe, letting go the old painful memories that seems to stick with you for the rest of your life, eliminate your fear and many more.

Hard to believe? Watch this!

It Won’t Work!

not only drops

Image by 5348 Franco via Flickr

Have you ever think that you are too ordinary to be successful?Have you ever tried something and give it up just because it didn’t work?

If your answer is yes, then this article is for you.

First of all, let’s get this straight. Nobody is born successful or super successful.

If you find yourself doing ordinary things all the time, then I would like to congratulate you because you are already on your way to your success.

All you have to do is do the “ordinary thing” consistently.

Ordinary things, consistently done produce extraordinary results

And I do mean any ordinary things. Nobody is born master. Every skill is learnable and repetition is the master of skills.

Let’s take a few successful icons as an example.

Anthony Robbins does not get to be the number 1 motivational speaker because he is borne with the skill. He becomes the number 1 motivational speaker because of his consistency.

Here’s how he started. He used to knock on doors and offer a free 2 hours seminars. After knocking on the doors of a few apartments and offer his free seminar, 3 people actually showed up in his very first “seminar”

He was shivering and he didn’t even know what he was talking about. If you were to ask him how it feels after the first seminar, he’ll say, “Horrible”

Did he stop there? No! He kept on practicing to become who he is today. He use the power of consistency.

“Every Master Was Once A Disaster” – T Harv Eker

Here’s another example. David Copperfield does not become a famous magician overnight. He started by trying to make a coin disappear in his bedroom and do you think he succeed in his first attempt. No! It was horrible. However …

… with his persistency and consistent practice, he can now make the entire Empire State Building disappear.

The same goes for the Law of Attraction. Not everyone can master the skill of applying the Law of Attraction in the first attempt. When I started to use the Law of Attraction to manifest the things that I want, it was horrible.

But, with continuous practice and deeper understanding, I can now manifest a lot of things easily and I suddenly found myself live in a magical life.

So, if you are still learning to make the Law of Attraction to work for you, don’t give up. Practice it consistently and you’ll get the extraordinary result.

Oh, by the way, if you wish to sign up for Anthony Robbins’ next Unleash The Power Within seminar in Vancouver, here the link.

Unleash The Power Within, October 2008

I wish you all the success and remember to move forward and be consistent.

Fake It till You Make It

Before I go into today’s topic of discussion, I would like to make an announcement.

For those who purchased the Mind Movie Kit from my link during the launch, please send me the receipt of your purchase and I’ll send you my personal mystery bonus worth $47. It’s a bonus. So that means you don’t have to pay for it. It’s just a way to express my appreciation to you.

Okay, end of announcement. Let’s read the article …

Most people living their lives based on the sequence have-do-be. They’ll usually wait until they have what they need before they start doing or taking the action to be who they want to be.

For example, if the person wants to be successful, he’ll wait until all the opportunities, tools and knowledge to show up on the right time before he can begin to take the necessary action to become successful.

This sequence is guaranteed to FAIL!

Imagine eating an apple before you even plant the apple tree.

It’s like putting the cart before the horse. WRONG SEQUENCE!

If you want to be successful, you must REVERSE the order which is have-do-be.

You must act as if you already have what you want. This is extremely important because it creates a self image that you wanted. When you have the self-image, you’ll do what it takes to fit and match your self image. Then only you’ll have what you want.

Have you ever seen a smoker struggling in the process of giving up their smoking habit? Why? Because they are playing the game of life in the wrong sequence.

If they want to give up smoking, they must first …

Are You Bright Or Are You Dim?

Decoration with Light

Image via Wikipedia

I was sitting on my porch one night and as I look up to the light, I saw there are a lot of bugs literally attracted to the light. It teased my curiosity that I went in the house and switch on a couple more lights, just to experiment with it.

The result? More bugs come along and in a few minutes, I can see a congregation of bugs surrounded the lights. Then I switch them off but one and the number of bugs reduced.

It’s an interesting observation. It got me thinking. More light means more electrical energy is being consume. That means, the more electrical energy we give out, the brighter the lights and the more attractive they are.

During the festive seasons, towns are lit up with lights and those lights actually attract more people to come out more often at night. Try to switch on a couple of sport light from your house. You’ll see people at your neighborhood coming out to see and talk about what’s happening.

Need more proof? Have you ever notice the big searchlights shining into the sky during the opening of a shopping mall, funfair, film premier or the launch of something.

Those lights attract a lot of attention. Think of the biggest light on earth. Right! The sun. There’ll be no life without sun. As the sun rises in the morning, trillions of living things wake up to greet the Mr. Sun. The sun attracts all the lives to it.

People go to school, go to work, go shopping, go for exercise and carry out their activities during the day time more often than at night. So, there’s no question that light has a very strong attractive force and the brighter the light, the stronger the force of attraction.

Now, back to you. Are you emitting lights in your daily life? Here’s why it’s important to you. The more “light” you give out, the more attractive you are. That’s what the Law of Attraction is all about.

I’m not asking you to carry a torch everywhere you go. A simple sweet and sincere smile from you can brighten the lives of people around you. Putting out positive thoughts and motivates your friends or colleagues who are down is also another way to shine your lights.

The amount of light you give out is directly proportional to the power of your attraction. If you want to attract big things, be a sportlight!

Evolve or Dissolve

In life, nothing is stagnant.
Everything is changing. People are born, grow old and die everyday.
Nobody and I really mean nobody, can stay the same forever.

At the very time you read this,
new cells are being produced in your body, millions of cells are
growing and the old cells die off. No single cell can live and stay the
same forever!

People may look the same physically over time, but their heart, feelings, emotion, knowledge may have changed.

That’s life, my friend.

There are only 2 possibilities of change. It is either change to the better or to the worse.

In another words, the changes
may evolve or dissolve you. But the good thing is, you have the control
over it. It’s your choice. You can choose to evolve or dissolve
yourself.

Let me give you an example:

Two employees in the same
company are facing the same situation. Both of them got fired. Not
because of their poor performance but it’s because the company they are
working with decided to shut down their department.

So, the change begins. Employee
A begins to think of the way out. He finds and investor and starts out
a small business with the skills he has. Within a short time, he shifts
himself from an employee to a business owner without any money out of
his pocket and make 3 times more money than his previous job.

On the other hand, employee B
spends his days blaming his boss for shutting down the department he
was working in and do nothing about his life other than blaming. (a
good example of victim)

As you can see, employee A chooses to evolve while the employee B lets his life dissolve.

Changes do happen in our lives but we are the one who determine the end result. Evolve or dissolve.

The Law of Attraction
is working all the time in our lives (Whether you believe it or not)
and we are the one that choose if we want the result of the
manifestation evolve or dissolve us. Agree? Come on. Share your opinion
with me.
